About me

I am a researcher in Digital Humanities at the University of Graz, where I am also a doctoral candidate. My work focuses mainly on digital scholarly editions, in particular data modelling, information extraction and the semantic web, as well as on natural language processing and machine learning, from named entity recognition and topic modelling to large language models.

The projects I am involved in range from medieval and early modern texts on hunting and eighteenth-century theatre chronicles to the memoirs of Countess Schwerin and the network of Giuseppe Tartini’s violin school. I studied German philology and Digital Humanities in Graz and Bamberg, and I am currently completing a Master’s in musicology.

Outside academia, I write songs, play in several bands and paint.
